Data Not Collected

Privacy Policy

Taskify does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no crash reporting SDKs in this app. We have no servers.

What stays on your device

  • All tasks, steps, and progress are stored locally on your device only.
  • Task breakdown runs on-device (Apple Intelligence where available). Your task text never leaves your device.

What we never do

  • We do not collect your name, email, location, or any identifier.
  • We do not send any data to any server.
  • We do not track you across other apps or websites.

Permissions, and why

  • Microphone & speech recognition — used only when you tap the mic button to dictate a task. Audio is transcribed on your device and never stored or uploaded.
  • Notifications — entirely optional, used only for gentle reminders you enable yourself. You can switch them off anytime in Settings.

Purchases

The optional one-time Pro upgrade is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details.

Your data, your control

Export everything as a JSON file from Settings → Export Data at any time. Deleting any task removes it immediately; deleting the app removes all data from your device.

Children

The app is rated 4+ and collects nothing from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.

Quick fixes first

  • Voice input not working? Check Settings → Taskify → Microphone & Speech Recognition are enabled.
  • Reminders not arriving? Check Settings → Taskify → Notifications, and that the in-app toggle is on.
  • Something looks wrong? Force-quit and reopen the app — all your data is saved locally and nothing is lost.
